Been too busy to post lately (which I suspect is the case with the rest of the gang as well), but this one's just too good to sit on any longer. It's a simple photo collection of the modern day tragically hip in their natural environment. I don't really get the joke about the Beans!! guy (well, I get it -- but I'm not 100% why it's supposed to be funny) but there are some classics hiding in here.
ps -- If all this Internet technology is too much for you to handle, just hold on. The guy who runs the site recently signed a book deal for all of this.

I can sort of understand when bloggers get book deals to write new material, like when Maddox did The Book of Men. However, I don't get why people would buy books of the same material that's on the blog, like this one or Indexed.
I guess the people who would buy the books aren't big Internet users. It's like my favorite recent quote about media: "CNN: Reading Twitter to Old People Since 2009."
I think the term "Book Deal" is the rub here -- a coffee book deal versus a contract to publish a novel appear to be different things, meted out in very different levels.
Many of the tumblr blogs I've mentioned on here have gotten the "book deal" -- but many of the others from the writers I admire don't ever get a sniff.
Sucks, really.
