This is why I've watched Jaywalking for two-hour stretches at a time.
You would think all of this is the basics, but almost none of this is stuff people use on a daily basis.
Also, you know how crappy the news media is at covering actual news and explaining what it means, right? Consider that most people don't even read or watch the news.
Combine that with a disdain for critical thinking, and this is what you get.
